Should the referees be entitled to the video replay to punish the vicious hit?

Actually Babs have a good point. i change my mind replays should not be use for something else than goals
like we say in french "only idiots don't change of idea"

I agree with Babs, if they did that then there would ne no point in having refs if the video can do it all. I tihink that goals should be only reviewable like Babs said.
When life gives you lemons throw them at the Ottawa Senators and their fans and hope it gets them in the eyes ;) |

No they don't. That can be judged during the game, video replay would be MUCH more of a hassle than any benefit it might have. We can't start reffing the games by video. |

I think they should be allowed to because they need to determine the length of the penalty or wether it deserves a misconduct.

Freddy, please pay attention to where you post your polls. They should be in the User Polls forum unless they are specific to a certain team.
Goals should be the only plays that are reviewable. If other calls become reviewable during a game, then the games would never end and almost every whistle there would be a review. As long as the refs are human, there is no way to eliminate human error from the game. Questionable calls will always be made, we just need to learn to deal with it, and in the rare cases where they get out of hand, find a solution. |
