I suppose so but why not put a team in Wisconsin? For one thing, Wisconsin actually has a population, and for another the fanbase is not only large but dedicated (hockey is very popular in WI) and they would have no problem selling tickets to real fans instead of relying on a bunch of casinos to do the job. |

While I cringe to think of hockey in Nevada, from a money-making point of view it could make sense. While Nevada doesn't have a huge population (roughly 2.5 million), if a team was based in Las Vegas the Casinos would buy scores of tickets and give them out as part of packages. There wouldn't need to be a hugely dedicated fan base since the arena would be technically "sold out" from all the tickets bought by the Casinos. - I'm sure many of you have been to (or seen on TV) games where they announce a sellout but there are plainly seats empty. |

theres no dought in my mind that hockey can survive down in an canadian city! but hamilton, just not a NHL name .

The NHL Does not look like they want to move a team, so if you want to buy a team you will have to buy one in your neighbourhood or you will have no luck. The Leafs are not for sale, so I guess he will have to wait a long long time...

poor guy, hes tried twice and still cant land a team. CMON more CANADIAN TEAMS, i dont even care if theres gonna be another one in ontario. |
