As NHL training camps are starting, Scott Niedermayer still hasnt shown up too the Ducks camp. He has already been suspended by the Ducks for not reporting to camp. His retirement descision has not been made yet....What do you think?

I think Scott will hang them up and he should cause the Ducks have had there day and thats more then most can expect! If he comes back then he proves to me to be way too big for his own good. I have no respect for a player to hold up any team !

This is tough on the team, there are some young guns that will give it their all in camp to play in Anaheim this season, and then three weeks into the season, BLAM Niedermayer shows up I want to play...

Sorry but sh?t or get off the pot...

Pucknuts you know I'm your biggest fan buddy, but I disagree with you this time. If he was playing, those kids wouldn't even have a spot. They should be grateful to get the shot to prove themselves for a couple months (or however long) The experience for them is invaluable. There is no financial burden to the team....and Niedermayer's summer was pretty short because he was too busy winning the Stanley Cup. So I think it's ok for him to do, his career has earned it. If it was a major problem I think Scott and Brian would address it.

The only issue I see is the ticket sales. I bet they can sell more tickets with Neidermayer committed than not. But since they are the NHL champs the ticket sales are probably going ok (as good as ticket sales go in California that is)

Besides because he is suspended his salary doesn't apply to the cap so it's not hurting the team financially. If it did hurt the team I think he would have made a decision earlier. Very responsible if you ask me.

Have a good wedding Beans! Fire me an email when you get back and we set "it" up.

It's a conspiracy. Burke and Neidermeyer planned it this way because of the cap.

I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.

Mario the first time and Jordan the first time.

I think what Neidermayer is doing right now is not that cool. Make a decision. No player is bigger than the team or the league.

If you are under the age of 15, please do some research before you make a post about anything pre-1997.

I think if Rob really tries to get his brother back, Scott might be back for another year.

I hate to say it but I think he is done. He has nothing to play for anymore. Selanne is still very questionable.
