For Syd 8 goals in 7 games in certainly doable; he has had hotter streaks.

While I agree it's unlikely he'll be able to reach 50, the Pens have 7 games remaining, not 3. |

With only 3 games left there's not a chance he'll hit 50. One scenario would mean three multi-goal games with at least 2 of them being hattie's. Gretzky and Bossy would have a hard time doing that.
