Well if he doesn't mean right now then , Marty Mcsorley, wow I hate that guy.
After playing in the NHL, it's hard to watch hockey games. |

Posted - 11/08/2007 : 09:16:06 Avery's probably the best active pest.
Claude Lemieux and Essa Tikkanen are probably one and two all-time though.
I agree with PuckNuts, Linseman was up there too. |

Posted - 11/07/2007 : 20:56:48 Sean Avery is one of the best. He made Kovalchuk go insane in the playoffs last year. He can also put the puck in the net. He's not a bad player to have on your team. |

Posted - 11/07/2007 : 19:23:13 Sean Avery definatly gets my vote. He can bait you into taking a pentaly and then burn you with a power play goal while you're in the box trying to figure out how you're going to get him back. |

I can think of one from the past. Mathew Barnaby was one that comes to my head. I had him last year as my enforcer in my pool and he was doing great fo me until a concussion ultimately ended his career.
I loved/hated Barnaby. I will say this, there was true joy in what he did. The guys was always smiling. It made you kind of like him, even if he was a giant pain in the butt. |

Sean Avery should definetely be up there. He is one of the biggest pests in the NHL, but he can also score. |
