Hemsky is a great player but this season he hasn't been playing anything like it. I think Edmonton needs to realize what the pens should have realized, they need somebody better to play alongside Hemsky. Pittsburgh has got Malkin now, maybe the oilers could put somebody else with him or trade for somebody.

Hemsky has the potential to do great things. I really think he needs to find chemistry with a certain player and he will fly. He has such great passing ability, fast skater, insane stick handler and has a under rated wrist shot. He will start to go eventually in his career. Hopefully he doesn't turn out to be a Kovalev.

It could be argued that he's already had his breakout season in 05'06 where he scored 77 points.

all hemsky needs is a legit 40+ goal scorer and i predict that his stat totals will go from 50-60 to any where from 80-100, hes that good

i also could see hemsky being an oiler beyond his current contract, he has always said that he loves the city and the organization

Hemsky needs to leave edmonton if he is ever going to be an elite player.

It angers me watching him, such great potential, some of the softest hands in the game. Yet 50-60 point producer? What's up with that? Also you can't completely blame him, look at his line mates'; Horcoff, Penner, Sanderson, Torres, Stoll and Nilsson. I don't think even the elite players in the league could produce as well as they are now with those line mates. I consider Hemsky to be a potential elite player, if steps up to the plate and gets some better line mates.

Hemsky's production:

21 games, 5 goals (93rd in the league), and 10 assists (71st in the league) for 15 points(82nd in the league)

Not great for a guy who is considered such an amazing player.

He's on pace for less than 60 points this year.

I think it could be better.

Wayne or Bobby?? How about both!!!
