Posted - 11/27/2007 : 17:28:34 I agree with you, kind of. I think that only if a player has 95+ points, they should be classified as a superstar. Somepeople might even say that 80 is enough.
Usually, a truly great forward, should be able to put up good numbers as well as have a big impact on their team.

Posted - 11/27/2007 : 17:26:36 'superstar' status should be reserved only for those who are truly great at what they do. Not just good, or above average. i.e. Joe Thornton put up consecutive 100+ point seasons and Jason Spezza(although perhaps due to injury) has not. They are both big, strong playmakers, but If you are basing it on point production(and it seems you are) then this is my theory |
