Who do you think is the best offensive duo in the league so far for 07/08?

Hossa and Kovalchuck get my vote the best pure scorer in the leauge and a awsome passer in hossa who has a ecellent shot that makes the goalies be ready. Is their a guy with a better one timer in the leauge than Kovalchuck?

just about any two of those listed would do for me....there is not that much difference in talent when you get the top 20 players lined up....one will have a better shot, one is more explosive off the start, one will be a better "leader"....you get the drift....maybe a better topic subject might be, "name the best 5 on 5 line in hockey"....but make sure they at least play 15-20 minutes together in a game....saves on the confusion of crosby/malkin named as a duo when most of their time is PP....

Spezza/Heatley
They dominate the play when they are on the ice as evidenced by their offensive numbers and their excellent +/-.
They are at or near the top in both categories.

Well if you'd watch hockey, you'd see that they're actually putting up numbers...maybe not as much as lecavalier or crosby, but as a duo they're doing rather well.
Anyway my vote goes to Crosby/Malkin, they're just so dynamic together, always scoring chances when they're on the ice.

Zubov for the Norris!

Ya, I think it's hard to go against Lecavalier and St. Louis. They play all situations together and produce both offensively and defensively. Datsyuk and Zetterberg are others who fit this bill, so I think it's a toss up between these two pairs.

I would ask that people be careful when making these polls. For example, Crosby and Malkin play most if not all of their time together on the PP. Other than that, they don't play on the same line very often at all. Iginla and Husselius were mentioned as well. Again, they only play together on the PP.

Wayne or Bobby?? How about both!!!

Malkin and Crosby play quite a bit of PP time together. I wonder if it could be considered a line? Makes for an interesting perspective anyway.

Iginla, Huselius and Langkow have been a line for a couple weeks now. I think they have combined for 31 points in 6 games. Don't know if they'll stick together under Keenan but it could be interesting.

I'm confused. Is this for best one-two punch on the ice at the same time, or best one-two punch meaning you just finished stopping Crosby from scoring and oh god now Malkin's on the ice.

Spezza - Heatley would be the better Ottawa combo. Alfie gets moved around too much.
How about some loving for the West: Iginla - Husselius

All underated: Brind'Amour - Stillman
All injury prone: Gaborik - Demitra
All rookie: Toews - Kane
All new: Kariya - McDonald
All big and small: Kopitar - Cammalleri (Nash - Peca may work too)
All looks the same to me: Sedin - Sedin

I went with St.Louis/Lecavalier... when they're on their game watch out!
I loved the cross ice pass last night from Martin to Vinny for the game winner...

Although I'm a wings fan I have to go with Crosby/Malkin. They dominate other teams consistantly when they're on the ice together.

Go Wings Go!
