I voted for Phenouf as i believe although he does not have the stats of Lidstrom, he is a solid player and is great at his position, he takes the man he gets some points and he is a great part of the Calgary orginzation. I believe that Dion deserves the best defenceman in the NHL

Tough choice but I voted for Pronger. I think he does most everything as well or almost as well as Lidstrom but adds that one ingrediant that Lidstrom lacks and it is a real virtue for playing defense, Pronger is big and mean. He puts the fear of God into a lot of opposing players!!!! Lidstrom is the more popular and I'm sure garners some of his votes for this reason. Heck, I like the guy and what he brings as much as anyone but Pronger scares the crap out of everybody and he does hurt people, make no mistake about that!!!!! |
