Among active goalies in the NHL based on career and potential where would you rank J.S Giguere?

Id say all of them are better but not Hasek. Hey what about Tim Thomas he's been great this year.

and don't leave out all that oversized gear he wears.

Not many goalies that can play under pressure like him. And goalies are always on and off, but he has been at least in the top 15 for a while now. I would draft him in terms of fantasy hockey much higher than others only because he always gets above average to great results.

As of right now this moment, I would label him a top 7 goalie.

Habs get number 25 this year

I agree with nash
J.S is a great goalie no doubt
but he is not very reliable,
he has tons of potential
but he just needs to stay focused and he will do great

As many goalies have shown, they can't get it doen when the pressures on them. Not for Giguere, the more he's counted on, the better he gets.

Ellis or Mason?

this is true hes a solid goalie in the season,,, but in the playoffs his adverage is less then 2 and a save percentage over 950...
