Posted - 04/25/2008 : 10:26:48 The Avs may have lost the game but since they came back they now know that they can compete with this team. This should be an interesting series and it will most likely go to 6 or 7 games. Hopefully Theodore is healthy for the Avs, heard he got a little bit of the flu.
The series that will most likely have an upset should be Philadelphia and Montreal because I think Philadelphia can play with them. All they need to do is be very physical on the Habs and they should be fine. |

Posted - 04/24/2008 : 21:22:49 Lol Pittsburgh is gone ... i'd say ... Habs will not lose ... look at tonight, thats about as close to winning Philly will get in this series, although I love how we are facing both teams in the East who I said would be dark horses this year |

Posted - 04/24/2008 : 11:06:16 I guess I’m not 100% convinced that the Habs are the favourite out of the east.
They did not have a great showing against the Bruins, who were playing with a lot of injuries.
Philadelphia is healthy, and I believe they are a better, more gritty team than the Bruins, which may cause a problem for the Habs.
Comparing the Bruins and the Flyers, the latter has a better goalie (Biron), more scoring power (Briere, Richards, Carter, Hartnell, and Prospal to name a few), a better defence (Smith, Timonen, Coburn).
The only way I see the Habs winning is if their power play performs better than they did in round 1. Philadelphia will be taking a lot of penalties, and the Habs need to capitalize on them.
Calling Philly in 7.

Posted - 04/24/2008 : 07:41:23 Obviously I'd love to see my team the Dallas Stars knock off the Sharks. I think we've gained enough confidence after beating Anaheim that we can beat San Jose. I didn't think San Jose looked very good at some times during there series verse Calgary so I think Dallas has good chance. What series would you like to see an upset in Alex?
