As above what are you going to watch?
Interested to know how the World Championship competes with NHL hockey in Canada. Since the WC is played in cities without NHL teams I´m guessing the attendence in the arenas will be good.
It´s played on small ice, Canada has home audience and as usual alot of good hockey players to choose from. Canada gotta be favourites to win the gold. |

This is how I would rank the National Teams pre tournament:
1. Canada
2. Russia
3. Sweden
4. Czechia
5. Finland
6. Slovakia
7. USA
8. Switzerland
Team USA got a young, talented and hungry team this year but based on previous performances I would be surprised if they make it to the semi finals.
Sweden has alot of good players from both the Elite league and the NHL who have turned down invitations to play for Tre Kronor this year, so the team looks a bit weak as last year but i have faith.
So team USA should probably be higher on the list and Sweden a bit lower. But if the Team Sweden of the NHL (Detroit) gets out off the playoffs i would put Sweden as nr 1.
