Every year the Stanley Cup winning team gets honored by the American President. The Detriot Red Wings are going to be honored by George W. Bush on Tuesday the 14th and I am wondering, would they honor a Canadian Team if they won the Cup?

CANUCKS RULE!!!

The Blue Jays got to visit the White House when they won the World Series, so I do not think the White House would be against hosting a Canadian team, if they won the Cup.

No, and to be honest the Canadian politicians probably wouldn't either. Bush doesn't congratulate say, football or baseball champions, because that can open up a whole can of worms. Imagine for a moment what would happen if a Canadian politician would congratulate an NHL team!
