Posted - 11/24/2008 : 09:30:11 I think when Turco picks it up and finds a groove Dallas will heat up and go right where they should be in the standings. I think Ottawa has more holes to fill then Dallas, no proven goalie, sloppy D and an inconsistent Offense with 3 of the best players in the league. I think management there needs a change myself, a new outlook in Ottawa is needed.

Posted - 11/23/2008 : 04:21:49 It's not such an easy question. Dallas has just lost their captain for the whole season, and everyone else is in a slump. Even if they managed to do a complete u-turn, remember that the rest of the conference isn't going to stand back and watch.
I'm going to write off the Thrashers and the Panthers right now, becuase honestly, they've both got worse rosters than last season. So that leaves us with Pheonix, Colorado and Ottawa. Some people were expecting a breakout season in the desert, I say it would have happened by now. Colorado meanwhile just simply has an awful roster. Especially in net.
So I'm going to have to say Ottawa, just because they have the least amount of work they need to get done in order to repair their kinks.

Colorado and Ottawa are the other teams that could make it if they get everything together, and florida and phoenix have outside shots but doubtful. Atlanta is the only 1 i say has no shot |
