Posted - 09/25/2009 : 10:58:39 i went with kiprusoff because he make good decisions which is to play the puck or cover the puck, and he can also see the puck very well which makes him save alot of shots.
ps.cargary rocks but thats not why i picked him |

Posted - 09/24/2009 : 16:04:04 i went with luongo, had a awsomw year last year until he got injured. But lets hope he dont get injured this year and have a awsome year this time. |

Posted - 09/23/2009 : 18:12:08 Even though Luongo is the best goalie in the NHL I don't think that he is going to have the best save percent this year. It will probably go to Backstrom or Nabokov. |

Posted - 09/23/2009 : 18:10:22 Nabokov will have the best save percent this year. The sharks are to good. |

Posted - 09/23/2009 : 17:57:20 theres a good reason kippersoft was left off the list he ranked 32nd last year |
Guest8954 |
Posted - 09/23/2009 : 16:39:16 what about backstrom. He got 0.923 sv% last season and his team didn't even make the playoffs! |

Posted - 09/23/2009 : 12:33:18 Tim Thomas or Kiprusoff are really good and so is Luongo.Brodeur should also be added to the list. These all would be in the top 10 for me, they are all very good and all have good save persentages.

Posted - 07/10/2009 : 01:39:53 Being an Oilers fan, I wanted to vote Roloson or Khabibulin, but I honestly dont beleive they will lead the league. Roli is a backup to Dipietro, and whos knows if Dipietro will finally remain healthy for a full season. And Khabibulin has a bunch of offensive dmen in front of him, good luck. I went with Luongo, because even when hes bad, hes good. But you never know. |

Posted - 07/08/2009 : 19:02:58 I choose thomas because boston has a good team and thomas is skilled with his glove and i think thomas can win the %. |

Posted - 07/07/2009 : 11:54:46 i voted for khalibluin because he is very smart woth keeping eye on the puck, and good motion

Posted - 07/07/2009 : 10:54:58 It's a total crapshoot, and I don't place as much importance for this stat on the defence as some do . . . so I went with Lundqvist.
He is what I would consider the best goaltender in the league right now, judging from regular season and playoffs.

Tim Thomas, the team didnt lose much from their D core, they will just be stronger! Look for a great season from him.
Iginla for 2010 team captain. Flames for cup...eventually.
I agree, they should be strong this year.I think they will try to turn it around and get into the stanley cup finals.

Brodeur will not retire this season. Not a chance! He is only a few shut outs away from the league record, he's 2 playoff wins away from 100 AND he has a shot at the number 1 spot on the Olympic team. Nope, not retiring this year.
As for save percentage...I really don't think Thomas will do it again. He had his dream season and I don't think he's a repeater. Love the guy but even he knows that he's on a crazy ride right now! I know it's a stretch after the last couple seasons, but Kiprusoff has a good shot at it when you take into consideration that he has one of the best defensive cores in the league. Luongo is always a threat in my books too. No way I could pick this, it's a crap shoot as guest 4648 said above. But I'll roll the dice and say Luongo.
I also think Kiprusoff has a shot at the save %, but Thomas will have a great year and get the best.Brentrock2,why do you think Broudeur would retire,i didnt hear a rumor about it,not a chance hes going to retire.

I got to agree about Price being in net alot. He wasn't doing all that great in the playoffs.Halak should of been in net more often.By the ways price is not stupid.Now...lets get back on topic. |

As for Brodeur retiring? During an Olympic year where the number 1 spot in net is prob still his to lose? Don't think so. I don't expect to see him going anywhere! As for the pole, it's really a crap shoot....guess i'll go back and vote now, prob for Marty.
About Brodeur retiring, I didn't think so myself but I heard a rumor about it somewhere. About Price he wouldn't be my pick either but he is still a good goalie. Sometimes he just makes stupid mistakes. I always watch the Canadians play every night because I'm a Habs fan but Price Is still a good goalie.

Posted - 07/05/2009 : 12:01:33 My choice would have to be Thomas, he is an outstanding goalie but the other goalies are good as well.
Martin Brodeur might be retiring and you didn't even have Price up there, what a shame.Thomas last year and this year was the best goalie of what I think. He had a great save% and I bet he will have about the same this 09 - 10 season. My next choice would have been Brodeur if not retired.

Posted - 07/05/2009 : 11:53:44 I picked Tim Thomas because he is a awesome goalie, but for the 2008-09 season there was some flukey goals scored on him.Boston almost got close to being in the Semi- Finals.Remember the shot by Semin in the playoffs from the red line, luckyBoston do better next year,my guess, other goalies are very good to but thomas is my pick
