Posted - 12/17/2006 : 16:04:04 Well if this was purely based on stats, there would be no need to have a poll. Bure to me was a much more dynamic, skilled and speedy player than Mogilny ever was. Too bad for his knee problems.
Mogilny was and still is a big baby. He deserves to be a candidate, but is certainly not the best. |

Posted - 12/17/2006 : 15:08:37 Mogilny was better then Bure and he isnt up there. He got 1032 points compared to Bure's 779. He also won a Stanley Cup, something Bure has never done.
Here are the links proving my point.

Posted - 11/22/2006 : 09:40:34 Bure, and then Kovalchuk. Ovechkin may prove to be the eventual "best ever Russian born player" when you look at his ability as an all around player but I think Kovalchuk might be the better goal scorer. |

Posted - 11/22/2006 : 09:19:58 Bure. period. Speed, agility and he played in a game that was clutch, hook and grab and still scored crazy goals.

Posted - 11/21/2006 : 18:41:07 For now, the greatest has to be Pavel Bure. I really wish he hadn't had those knee problems cause he was simply amazing to watch. |
