Posted - 03/18/2007 : 13:28:53 SJ has shutout opponents 4 times in the last 7 games (3-Nabokov, 1-Toskala in his first game back from injury), outscoring them 26-4 during this stretch. I know I've been skeptical of Nabokov but lately he's stepped it up and if he KEEPS this up, he'll be making Wilson's job of choosing who plays in the playoffs really tough. With Toskala back and both of SJ's top 2 lines on fire, it's lights out.
Nashville close second, I agree. They just both have to prove themselves during the playoffs. |

Posted - 03/18/2007 : 11:40:27 I voted for San Jose, but Nashville is a close second, how could that guy put COLORADO on the list.

There not the best, but do deserve to be on the list. Mason and Vokuon are pretty solid goalies. |

Posted - 03/17/2007 : 16:23:36 Im bringing back a poll last discussed in December. It definatly has to be San Jose, and now that Toskala is playing well the Sharks are nearly unstoppable.

Posted - 12/12/2006 : 21:46:35 The Kings just snapped another 137:00ish shutout streak by Toskala-Nabokov. They're now both up to 3 shutouts each. They're both top 5 in both GAA and SV%. There can't be any doubt who the best goalie duo in the league is. |

Posted - 11/30/2006 : 16:39:56 I agree. I voted for Toskala Nabokov to. |

Posted - 11/29/2006 : 08:46:10 Toskala-Nabokov a combined 124:06 of shutout streak for the Sharks.
No fluke. |

Posted - 11/25/2006 : 10:56:43 Currently I think san jose takes 1st with no doubt, just wait though, Theodore and Budaj will do great in a year! Aubin is also a goalie i think will do great! |

Posted - 11/24/2006 : 14:59:39 I gotta agree Bab, San Jose is the only team in the league with two ligitimate starting goalies. No one else comes close.
However, I would give Buffalo a stronger second than Montreal. |
bablaboushka |
Posted - 11/24/2006 : 11:22:35 I fixed it.
Sure it might be really easy for me to say this but anyone who doesn't vote for Toskala/Nabokov is ridiculously silly. They are the only team in the league that rotates them every game and frankly they're the only team that could get away with it. I see the Montreal duo is getting votes... come on. They're OK, maybe a close second but no team has a more talented duo than San Jose. |

Posted - 11/24/2006 : 09:32:19 Sorry about the duplication. I wasn't logged on when I made the other poll, then I logged on and made a duplication. |
