sean avery really has turned his game around big time. chris neil is scoring some goals too, but hes stilll hated.
why is mike peluso not on there?
bertuzzi is definitely not the most hated player ever, but his hit on moore was bulls***.
that was more than just a dirty hit. the guy was at centre ice and bertuzzie came up from behind and suckered him, taking him down. how is that just a dirty hit? it really wasn't even a hit with shoulder or hip, he just drilled him in the back of the head. |

I despise Wade Belak. Throw him in there for us leafs fans This guy honestly can't get a point per month if he tried(not that he doesn't lol). He takes idiotic penalties, tries to beat up little guys and makes no contribution to the team...I wish he would leave the rough stuff to Gil. |

I know it's unpopular but I disagree. I'm not really an eye for an eye guy but Moore was asking for it when he lined up a vulnerable Naslund. Then he skated away from Bertuzzi when he asked him to "go". Sure Bertuzzi suckered him but it's no different than any other dirty hit in the league which happens daily except this time someone got hurt in the insuing pile up. Bertuzzi served one of the longest suspensions in history and stil pays the price today. Moore is a weasle!

It was a cheap shot, there is no denying it. But you are right - it is one of many cheap shots that happen all the time and unfortunately this one ended up seriously injuring a guy. The NHL is crazy if they only use the harsh suspensions when the act causes serious injury.
I am not a Canucks fan, a Panthers fan, or a Bertuzzi fan, but I think he is being used by the league. Until they fix the mess they made (all of these stupid rule changes leading to serious injury including the obstruction and instigator) then this problem will persist and there will be more guys like Bertuzzi taking the fall. |

I voted for Avery. But I like how he's turned his game around this year. Let's see if he really has changed his stripes. |

I think that if it wasn't for the lockout, he might have been suspended longer. I think he deserved something more severe than what he got, I mean he ruined a bright young player's career who will never return to professional hockey. |
