I think that Calgary will come on strong this season and take the division.

Brodeur is twice the goalie that Kiprusoff will ever be.

I have heard a couple more games but I have also heard the concussion is more serious than that and he could be out long term.

Bablaboushka, even you have to admit it is pretty freaky and maybe even uprecedented that over 1/4 way through a season and all 5 teams are essentially tied!

Ok well forget Calgary's record...

Kiprusoff is 12-9-1. That is about the 10th-11th best record in the league. Forget his other stats because they don't mean a thing unless he can win some games. We all know he can cause he has, or was that just a fluke? Haha let's not start that again...

To get back on topic: The team that separates itself from the pack in this division is the one who will have a goalie steal games for them. So far none of them have consistently done a good job = a log jam of OK teams fighting for their lives.

I'm pretty sure kipper is the best in the league. I don't think that you have to have the best current record to still be considered the best in the league. A team's record is dependent upon the team as well. Basically if you put him on ANY team, that team is instantly better. But if you need to look to the "right now" for credibility they are tied for the 4th best record in the last 10 games.

I think the Flames will take the NW as well. yup I'm biased but they have the best record of late and they are picking up the pace. They were in a similar position last year and they won so I'm still very optimistic.

Pretty wild though, only 2 points separate 1st and last right now.

Canucks all the way. They are a sleeper team that will make a minor blockbuster in the New Year and climb to the top. Probably edging out the Avs by a point.

Gaborik is good and contributes a lot... when he plays. He is very injury prone (especially his groin) and that hurts the team as much (pun intended). Once he shows up again, which should be soon, they're going back to the top of the Division.

Calgary does not have the best goalie in the league, they are only 2 games above .500.

Gaborik is the one guy who hasn't done all that much since his rookie year. I keep waiting for him to take off but it doesn't seem to happen. Is he getting a reputation to being injury prone?

I voted Calgary. I think they are finding their way now and any time you have the best goalie in the league you have a good shot. The top teams are already showing signs of self-destructing. (Edm, Min)

Minnesota. Once Gaborik and Demitra come back it's game over.

Flames Are starting to click so I really think they will take it, but it will be close.
