Posted - 12/23/2009 : 17:20:30 Well I know that goalies really cant get points but rarely they do get some. Like the goalie may score on a empty net, or he passes it to a person and they go down the ice and score. So sometimes goalies get points. So which goalie do you think will have the most points by the end of the 2009-2010 regular season?

Posted - 12/26/2009 : 19:37:14 My vote is for Martin Brodeur.
In my opinion, Martin is the best puck moving goaltender in the league today. Add in the fact that he is not shy to make a long pass or dump, and you have a guy who can gather a few assists by dumping it up the boards or past the red line, as often as he does.

Posted - 12/26/2009 : 18:23:07 I said brouder simply because he does have 2 assists so far on the year. I think he may get some more. |

Posted - 12/25/2009 : 13:26:57 Well currently it's Anderson from Colorado with 3 points. Not overly surprising considering the season that Colorado is having and the amount of minutes the guy is putting up. But I voted for Turco simply due to his ability to handle the puck. He probably has a harder wrist shot than half of the forwards in the NHL. Historically he's one of the leaders in this category too. Safe bet but not guaranteed considering his age now. Obviously another good candidate is Brodeur. But my vote is for Turco.
Side note, Turco was drafted int he 5th round (124th overall) in 1994...once again proof that you don't have to be a first or second round draft pick to be an amazing hockey player (see Zetterberg - 7th round, 210th overall in '99) |
