The only reason I asked is that I was sure spelling was Correct, no harm done...

It's when people are too lazy to inform themselves of the correct way of spelling a name, so they put that as an excuse. Don't worry, I won't get any more into that again.
-oil-country- Posted - 02/06/2007 : 06:59:25
is spelling correct.
PuckNuts Posted - 02/06/2007 : 05:37:29

my bad that is right

CSKA Moscow, that IS the Red Army league; CSKA stands for Tsentralny Spordit Krasnaya Armiya, or Central League for the Red Army, in English.
Beans15 Posted - 01/28/2007 : 17:43:04
Every Great Russian may have been a stretch. "Most" great Russian players started there.

PS-Malkin is not great yet. He has the potential to be great. One good season does not a superstar make!!!!!
Beans15 Posted - 01/28/2007 : 17:19:43
If you are referring to CSKA Moscow as the first team he played for, you are right. But do your research; it is widely renounced as "The Red Army," from its past affiliation. And as he started playing with them in 1989, prior to the USSR being dissolved, it was The Red Army. If I am wrong, please steer me in the right direction.
Mikhailova Posted - 01/28/2007 : 16:05:06
Hey Beans--Malkin didn't start his career in CSKA Moscow, he started for Metallurg Magnitogorsk.

Anyway...my next wild guess
Lokomotiv Yaroslavl?
