Pat deserves to be in the hall.

Thank you Pat, for everything you brought to the game!

There was once a license plate in Toronto that abbreviated "Go Leafs" it read "Golfs".

I am honestly shedding a tear for Pat Burns tonight, just caught the news before going to bed. Sad, sad news.

Most hockey fans of the teams he worked for knew him as an astute, ascerbic coach with a fine dash of wit and sarcasm. But I also thought he was aso a very kind soul, and a guy with real moral standing, as a person observing from afar.

It was terrible to see him waste away like he did, and I cringed when I saw some of the recent photos of him . . . so perhaps it is for the best that he doesn't suffer further.

Cheers Pat.

Great Man that did great things for Hockey. His courage in the face of overwhelming odds is an inspiration.

He should have been a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Rest in Peace Pat

The arena wall in chicago should be credited with a goal.

Really sad day for all of hockey to lose such a good guy. The success he had at all the levels speaks of what a good coach he was.

I'm quite saddened they couldn't find the way to put him in the HOF before he passed. Certainly in situations like this, rules can be bent or broken! Regardless, he's likely to be there soon, only he'll be watching from above as he's voted in.

RIP Pat.....

It's a sad day for hockey.

I had a love/hate relationship with him via my television every Saturday night growing up. But that's hockey right. Gonna miss the old bear.

Condolences and well wishes to his friends and family.
