Posted - 03/08/2012 : 14:19:51 Just wondering what people think of the Kronwall hit on Vorachek?? Clearly Shanny had no problems with it....which surprised me. I myself think it is a great old school hit....and I am a Flyers fan....but surprised it wasn't punished under the "new" rules of hitting. |

Posted - 03/08/2012 : 22:09:03 I hadn't seen it, nor had i bothered to look it up, till now. Guest2872, you ever heard of youtube (you could have at least supplied a link)
Here it is....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QtipTlOscg
It looked great at first, but watch from the 40 sec to 45 sec mark! Def the head was the first point of contact. I do agree with 2187 in saying how else could he hit him without going low??? But, it seems the NHL is trying to take these sort of hits out of the game. One day, guys like Kronwall will have to learn that these aren't acceptable any longer!
Hang on, did you say there wasn't even a phone call??? Shanny, you're losing me here. Now i'm wondering about the Green hit tonight that i started a thread about?? |

Voracek on the other hand...
I love it when people correct someone's spelling with terrible grammar! "I pretty surprised....."??? |
