Sydney is right up there with the best teenagers ever, Mario, Bourque, Jagr, Orr.
Question - instead of playing tough East hockey and taking it to the net etc; if he just hung at center waiting for breakout passes, would he have mroe points and more goals, more records?

Tough East hockey? That's a thing of the past.
The East is easily the more free-flowing of the 2 confrences right now.
That said, no, I think Sid has to do what ever he thinks he has to to be effective. He has a super strong base and it probably serves him well in terms of driving the net. |
