Posted - 01/07/2015 : 17:47:15 First time I've seen this but apparently at the end of the gold medal game the other night, a Russian player (Paigan Ziyat) launched his stick into the crowd, hitting a fan, who later spoke with police. Now, this wasn't a "souvenir" type toss either, as it appeared to have been hurled in an angry/aggressive manner.
