I don't understand this guy. He is one of my favourite players. He starts out as cold as ice and then finally sets the U.S. scoring record and goes on an absolute tear for 12 games and then nothing again. I wish I could see some of their games and find out how he is playing and how he is being used out there. Anybody have any input?

Modano is 37 years old, and not getting any younger. He has always been a streaky score in the past. I would not expect more than 60 points from him this season.

He has two more years on his contract, at half the salary that he is at now. I can see his ice time dwindling as he passes the torch to the younger players...
