Just how long with Booth's "leash" be upon his return from a stint in the AHL where he put up one measly assist in 3 games for Vancouver's farm team in Utica?
I was so excited when the Canucks aquired this former 30 goal scorer and have been so disappointed ever since. I kept thinking that it was simply his injuries that were affecting his play, which i'm sure they were, but there's gotta be more to it. I defended him recently due to his C's injuries (Kesler) but i'm starting to think he was a "flash in the pan" and is now likely in line for the Canucks second "buy out" next summer, unless they can somehow deal him, however, that's really unlikely with the contract he's on!
I can only wonder how long Torts will put up with his lacklustre play, assuming it continues?  |

Hopefully he can do something, but unlikely with the diminished ice time the bottom 6 get. I don't even know who our bottom 3 skaters are these days. |
