Will Calgary's offense heat up?

Couldn't say anymore.

Road win last night, ya it was just phoenix, but it was a road win none the less. They're getting points from Iginla, Tanguay, Langkow who are all at a point a game or better. And guys like Lombardi, Phaneuf and Huselius are looking pretty solid.

But having said that, the Flames don't need to be the best offensive team. Check this out, only 5 guys are minus players, and of those 5 guys their combined +/- is only -6. Their team +/- is tied with Anaheim for the best in the league!

Their 'goals for' is right in the middle of the pack at 18th, and climbing steadily. Although this is one area that they could stand to improve upon, I think Calgary has clearly been one of the best teams in the league in the last 20 games.

It could happen, but I would like to see the WIld win it and go on to the Western confrence final, but once again slim chance that would happen. they need all there players tho.

I think they will continue to tear it up, and even though I am not a Flames fan, I think they will win the division and we will see an anaheim vs. calgary western conference final, just a thought.

bablaboushka Posted - 12/13/2006 : 20:06:53
Exactly, they are the most inconsistent offense in the league.
B-rett10 Posted - 12/13/2006 : 19:46:18
Exactly "bab" like a light switch eh?
bablaboushka Posted - 12/13/2006 : 19:13:18
Yeah they'll score for a couple of games, then take a break, then maybe a couple more, then another break.
Trevman12 Posted - 12/13/2006 : 19:07:40
Ya, they've already started to.
B-rett10 Posted - 12/12/2006 : 19:41:40
