Hey welcome, just joined not long ago myself. I was one of those long time readers and finally decided to be a member. Although I took advantage of the free pool manager since I think 2003.
I am an avid Leaf fan, but mostly I just love the game like most on this site. I played a little junior till I blew my knee and was done for good. Now its just beer league. Most threads here are excellent for discussion although some get carried away.
One question, where is Babaloushka (spelling?) he used to post some real good topics and provided some great, intelligent responses about the game.

Least Favorite NHL Team: Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs.

I live in Queens County New York. I used to live in Brooklyn county, and before that out on the Island. I miss the old hockey teams: The Quebec Nordiques, Hartford Whalers, Winnipeg Jets, and the California Golden Seals. I dont like the fact that Atlanta has a team, same with Phoenix. They should deffinatly bring back at least the Jets and Whalers. I am obviously born in the United States, but i believe that Canada should have at least 1 more team in the NHL now than they currently do.
My nationalities are way too many to say ahah.
And thats it, you can call me Rusty or by my WhalersForever8711 name. ( the 87 represents the year the Whalers won the Adams, and the 11 represents Kevin Dineen, the Last Hartford Whalers Captain ! )

Hey Rusty! Welcome to the site! Looking forward to hearing your opinions on the game! Totally agree with you about the Jets. And maybe when Brendan Shanahan retires he'll bring a team back to Hartford! Well we can dream right!

Oh No.......Not another Habber? Oh well, welcome to the site. I thought the numbers were dwindling because it has been so long since the toilet seaters had done anything. It was starting to get refreshingly comfortable since the '93 season was so long ago. A decent season and they all come springing up out of the ground like a gaggle of unwanted weeds or somethin'. Again, welcome to the sight, now go sit in the corner with the rest of them. LOL

Sorry buddy, the site does not allow customized avatars. You will have to pick from the selection that the site has.

To do this, simply click the Profile option in the top left of your screen and then go from there.
