This could have been a candidate for goal of the year. Okay, that to some might be a little strong but considering the season Kyle Wellwood's had, it'd be a highlight for him for sure!!!

If only he could have popped it in. Darn spOILER goalie!

I watched this game an my God I thought Kyle wellwood was possessed all night. By far he was the best Canuck player on the ice. As a Leaf fan I know his inconsistency all to well. Sometimes you see flashes of brilliance that could make him a possible 20 goal 30-40 assist man on a yearly basis then for the next 5 games he makes you wonder if he is even playing. Either way when he decides to play like he did against the Oilers he is really fun to watch.

Actually, that reminds me of Nilsson's goal back in December or January - that was a beauty, too.

As nice as Wellwood's moves were last night, Deslauriers was unreal. Well-deserving of first star on the night.
