Well like the name of the thread implies, if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. Chicago played unbelievably in the pre-season and started pretty well in the regular season. Havlat used the increased ice time to his advatage, Handzus played very well with him and it almost seemed like Khabibulin was back to his Jets' form. Until now...
- Handzus is gone for the season with an ACL injury (maybe he can take the time off to rethink his hairdo). - Havlat is out for 3-4 weeks with a high ankle sprain. He only just recently lost the scoring title he had pretty much since a couple games in. - Khabibulin is out 2-3 weeks with a broken finger on his blocker hand.
You can't really get a bigger blow to your team. It'll be interesting to see how Chicago does with their three top guys out.
