Islanders won the last game against the devils which means they are in the playoffs and im happy because i did not want toronto to make it.

   i hate the islanders now i didnt care about them before but since they knocked the leafs out of a playoff spot i hate them. but if you saw the devils game new jersey didnt try for the first 2 periods the only person trying was scott clemmensen if new jersey tried then islanders would of lost and the leafs would be in the playoffs now i will never like the islanders

Leafsfan, you should be hating the devils not the islanders, new jersey wasn't playing good hockey, they weren't trying at all...So even though the islanders knocked the leafs out, it's mainly becuase New Jersey wasn't trying.

Yep, good one guys. Blame the Devils for the Leafs not making the playoffs...
I bet it didn't have anything to do with inconsistent goaltending, injuries to key players, lack of depth, a dumbass GM, lack of scoring from the top line down the stretch, terrible/overpaid defensemen or lack of desperation until the last 3 games.
You're right, it's the Devils' fault. |

You cant blame the devils for not trying, they earned the right to not try and to rest there players. The leafs had plenty of chances to save there season, going up 4-1 vs buffalo and losing and not playing good against the islanders last week.

The Devils were not trying in the shootout though.
But who cares, they are in the playoffs, and now the Islanders are in the playoffs. Everyone is happy
(except Leafs fans)
