Mike Modano broke Joe Mullen's record of 502 goals by a US born player. He got his 503rd goal last night against the Predators.
Good job Mikey!

Yeah, congrats to Mike. He is probably the best American-born hockey player out there at the moment. Woot! |

That's too bad. I liked Mullen. Modano's nice to watch skate but that's about it. And Chelios is the best American player . Period!

I think Roenick gets a bum rap for some of his comments during the strike and his play towards the end of his career. I agree that Chilios is the best ever American Player, with Leetch and Roenick right behind him. I would put Modano behind at #4.
And I too liked Joe Mullen, more so than Modano. I think it might have something to do with Dallas taking out the Oilers how many times in the playoffs?? |

Yeah Chelios rules. He's a great player and a great guy. And he's got the stamina despite being 45 years old to keep playing in the NHL and keep playing well. His birthday is Jan. 25, one day after mine, lol (different year obviously). |
