| He is listed as out until at least Nov. 22. It is listed as an upper body injury. Washington has not put him on injury reserve, so that indicates that it's not that bad of an injury. He might be back Saturday in San Jose. |

hahaha...I may have made a foolish mistake, or a brilliant one.
I'm in a head to head league with 11 categories. Goals, assists, pts, PPG, PPA, SHG, PIM, Shots, Wins, GAA, SV %....
You can only start one LW, RW, C, G and 2 D. I was pretty stacked at LW with Ovechkin, Semin and Parise. But I had issues at D, I have Green but then it dropped dramatically to Coburn and Suter.
Knowing all this I made the following trade....Ovechkin for Lidstrom and Giguere.
BOOM Semin gets injured and Ovechkin starts lighting up the net...leaves me to wonder if I could have made the same trade but sent out Semin instead of Ovechkin....At the end of the day though I think the trade made my team more well rounded. And it was very frustrating having to have either Ovechkin or Semin on the bench anytime the played because they're both LWers....
Only time will tell. |
