Olczyk did nothing but call Semin's hit on Boyle dirty, cheap and high.
Call it "too little too late" or a "grudge hit" or whatever - but call it clean.
Since they didn't show the replay, I could concede that it was charging. But, if not charging - no penalty.

| bout time Semin delivered a hit...only highlight for russia :)..i dont think it was dirty..just out of flustration of LOSING...bring on the swedes...and yes USA again...there gonna get SMOKED :) |

The slew foot by Boyle wasn't too clean either.
A better game but still some defensive lapse. The line combos is working very well.
Getzlaf and Perry woke up - finally. Probably because Morrow kicked their sorry behind out of bed. |

Besides being one of the biggest surprises once I found it was Semin, I think it was a perfectly clean hit.
I saw the replay, btw, did not look too late to me from what I remember.

| I thought it looked pretty clean too? Having said that, i had no prob with Boyle's retaliation at that point in the game. Then again, had Semin whacked his head on the ice and something serious came of it, we might be playing without Boyle on Fri night? |

Great hit from Semin nothing wrong with it at all.
Boyle should have been the only one in the box for the slewfoot.
I think the only reason Boyle retaliated was because the game was all but over and Semin took a run at him. I think ke expected a little more profesional courtesy t this point and didn't recieve it so he was pissed and will probably show Semin that when they get back to the NHL.
