Funny little video. But it brings up an interesting topic. Players who are not winners. You can name a handful without much thought. A couple examples are O Jokinen and J Bouwmeester. Great hockey players yet neither have won anything and losing seems to follow them. It's always been that way. Years ago you had guys like Andy Bathgate who did win a Cup but did so by being traded to the Leafs 3/4's of the way through the season. From comments by Dave Keon you get the impression that they won that cup in spite of having Bathgate, not because of his contributions. The next season the Leafs lost in the semis and Bathgate was traded to Detroit that summer never to even sniff the Cup again. Thoughts?

weird. That video included Lecavalier and St Louis, both of whom have actually won the Stanley Cup. Hard to lump them in the same group of superstars that have never won anything.
Yeah, I agree though, there are certain players that just seem destined to not win ever, no matter where they go. Hossa is the worst recent example, managing to get to the cup final with the losing team in back-to-back years - although this year he has a legit shot at it with Chicago.
Jokinen is one. Bouwmeester, hard to say he's still pretty young, he could end up anywhere. |

Eric Staal was in there as well and he has won a Cup. |
