Niedermayer. He has both offence and defense. He also is a great leader. Selanne is better on offense, obviously. Nierdermayer, in my eyes, is one of the most balanced player in the NHL.

Pronger.

Dominating force on the back end, and still managed to put up a better points per game average than Niedermeyer and surprisingly took fewer penalties as well.

yeah it is hard to compare a D to a forward but if your talking about whos better on offence then it is selanne
