Poll Question:
Try and predict the winner of the 2010 Memorial Cup. Four tough teams this year, it should be a heck of a fight!!

Choices:

Calgary Hitmen (WHL Champions)
Windsor Spifires (OHL Champions)
Moncton Widcats (QMJHL Champions)
Brandon Wheat Kings (WHL/Host Team)

I feel it will come down to the Hitmen and the Spitfires with the Hitman taking the coveted Memorial Cup.

Of course Windsor could easily be the favorite as they have Taylor Hall, Ryan Ellis, Cam Fowler amongst many other great players on their roster. Calgary plays a hard nosed physical game that the Spitfires may not be able to keep up with. Brandon Kozun will be the difference maker, he is small but effective.

There has not been a team to repeat a Memorial Cup win since the Kamloops Blazers back in 1995. That being said it is quite an accomplishment just to be in the Memorial Cup final two years in a row.

When Hell freezes over, I'll play hockey there too.

Sigh... I guess I'll hope for Moncton Wildcats...

but, they just knocked out my Saint John Sea Dogs (QMJHL). So, meh. I could care less I guess.

But, it was nice having both New Brunswick teams in the finals of the QMJHL.

I agree, Moncton has a great team, as did Saint John,(seen them play Halifax at the Metro Centre), however, in the end, seems like Windsor is a team of destiny, especially after the 3-0 comeback against Kitchener in the OHL semi-finals. They may have too much for everyone else.
