Poll Question:
No Canadian team has won the Cup since Montreal in 1993. Which Canadian team will be the next to lift Lord Stanley's mug?

| I said Edmonton. They made it to the finals last year against the Hurricanes, they can sure do it again. The Leafs suck this year, the Canucks aren't that great, the Flames are OK but I wouldn't say Stanley Cup quality, the Sens are decent and the Habs actually aren't that bad, but judging from last year I'd say the Oilers have the best shot. |

Flames. Great foundation - Phaneuf, Kiprusoff, Iginla. The supporting cast and team depth is coming along too. I really like their chances over the next couple years.
There are better teams out there in the league right now but in the Northwest I don't think so. I think that we have just begun to see them pull away from the pack. In 4 weeks they'll be at least 8 points up on the closest competition.
I'm trying to remain objective but my colours are indeed flying.  |

Montreal or Calgary. Both are showing signs of consistent improvement over the past few seasons. The other teams go on the odd winning streak now and then, but not enough to remain higher in the standings for any period of time. I'd like to see another Flames-Habs final like in '89. We'll see.

Edmonton is a whole different team this year losing probably there 2 top D-Men in Spacek and Pronger and Samsonov and Peca were also good assets but i didn't expect a cup run like last year so you never know. |

The Canucks will be the next to win the Cup for sure and they're gonna win it this year. They've shown way more character this year, plus Luongo's really hit his stride and it'll be interesting to see what he'll do in the playoffs (which they WILL make). I hate to say it, but I think Calgary's got a decent chance at the Cup too...

I think either Ottawa or Calgary. Ottawa is by far the most talented but they seem to be jinxed. Calgary has a pretty solid mix of talent from goal to d-men to forwards. |

most likely would be either Calgary or Montreal
Vancouver has a shot if they can increase scoring and Luongo can pull out a win for the team |
