The rules are simple:
Anytime you want to exaggerate a score from the league, and really point it out to someone, you write: SCOREBOARD! and enter the score.
Example: Last Saturday night, any of us could have said:
Hey, IHC...SCOREBOARD! Pens 8, Leafs 2
Or Hey Oil Country....SCOREBOARD! Flames 4, Oilers 0 (It killed me to write that)
It comes from the best comeback ever used. Anyone who listens to Jim Rome has heard this one: You're winning the game, and a guy from the other team comes up and says "Hey, nice turnover back there", to which you reply: "Scoreboard", maybe add in a point towards it, and walk away.

I know...just wait, the Sabres will pass the Preds again soon enough
It'll probably go back and forth for awhile between Buffalo, Nashville, and Anaheim but when the Sabres win the Cup it won't matter! |

I can't wait until San Jose passes Anaheim for first in the Pacific. It seemed like such a long shot earlier in the season but SJ is only 4 points behind with 2 games in hand, so technically they're tied. So exit Anaheim and enter SJ into your little formula cause SJ is taking over the league! |

| OK, SJ will pass the Ducks (who've been slumping lately anyway), and it'll go back and forth between the Sabres, Preds, and Sharks. But the Sabres will still win the Cup (I hope) |

Uhh wait? Going back to the beginning of the season is too far, but last years playoffs its still legit? Okay, I can dig.

BTW: Buffalo is going to lose to New York, I'm guessing at a score of 4-3 in overtime tonight and Nashville is goin to beat St.Louis, I'm guessing at a score of 4-2, just a guess

I cannot believe the Blue Jackets won last night...but I hope the Sabres beat the Islanders and get some more points on their record
BTW--half the reason the Preds win all the time is because they have the Blues, Blackhawks, and Blue Jackets in their division, who are all easy to beat. The Sabres have the Canadiens and Sens in theirs, and to have a .700 win percentage in a division like that is pretty good! |

That is a pretty good win percentage but still the Preds have to face the Sharks 2 times, the Ducks 2 times and the Red Wings 4 times.
Buffalo also has to play weak teams too like Philly, Florida and Washington a few times. I agree the Predators face easyer teams than Buffalo but Buffalo faces some pretty weak teams too and they don't even play the Ducks or the Sharks.

The Sabres have won 2 of the 4 games against the Leafs, and the Leafs have won the other two. So if the Sabres are struggling against the Leafs, the Leafs must be struggling against the Sabres since they've won the same number of games...

I feel your pain, Beans. My Sabres aren't looking so great and they lost to the Blue Jackets, the 4th worst team in the league (Though, so did the Wild...maybe CBJ's just getting better)
And they lost to NYI last night too  |
