SHARKS 5 PHOENIX 1
I know no one cares, but I just thought I'd mention that SJ has outscored opponents 23-4 in the last 6 games. FINALLY, Nabokov is showing his potential, too bad it took him so long. Guerin who hadn't had a point as a Shark now has 4 goals in the last 2 games and Thornton is now tied with Crosby for the most assists in the league. I said about 15 games ago that someone would pass Crosby in points by the end of the year, and I was expecting one of the TB guys to do it. Thornton is now making a push too, rock on! |

Im the complete opposite right now, my buddy went on vacation(hes a leafs fan) and we usually bet on hockey game and while hes away we made 22 5 dollor bets on games and the sabres winning tonight puts me up 5 after 18 games!!

Ya know, at least when the leafs lose, they lose in spectacular fashion.......That blown lead will be talked about for a while...Only my precious leafs could lose in such a grand way....
But the refs gave that win to Buff....After the leafs 4 goal(assist to th ref), the refs were trying to even it. That non-call on brierre that led to the 3rd goal, he slashed the leaf guy so hard he broke his stick...The leafs had 2 or 3 penalties right after their 4th goal, what a joke!

What the hell does EV mean?.....if you're saying even strength, that may be true, but the leaf guy was JUST leaving the box on the 3rd goal, that's still a powerplay as far as I'm concerned.......

Stupid Nabokov screws the game up again and because the Sharks almost came back Toskala gets the loss, what a rip off.
The reason they lost is because they gave up a very rare 7 PP opportunities to Carolina. Even though they only scored on 1, it gave Carolina the momentum and hardly gave the Sharks anytime to get anything going. 8-1-2 in their last 11 though, still not bad. |
