I heard that Philly management has scheduled a meeting with Forsberg for today. It's probably to see if he'll waive his no trade clause to go to Detroit.

Will this actually happen or is it a rumor. I think the deal would look something like this if it happened:

TO PHI:
Andreas Lilija
Tomas Kopecky
Kyle Quincey
2nd RD pick in 2007 draft
5th RD pick in the 2008 draft

TO DET:
Peter Forsberg
5th RD Pick in 2007 draft
This deal looks ok to me beacuse Phily looks to be a team needing more young, mobile defenceman and need to build for the future. They can do this by getting draft picks and a young d-man in Quincey.

Also, this deal is good money-wise for both teams.

Ya, I think Forsberg might be going to Detroit, they just lost Steve Yzerman and Brendan Shanahan, why not get a guy like Forsberg. There might be some bad blood with some of Detroits veterans tho, remember this:
