What team has the most first round picks in its regular line up?
The Oilers have 9 Brule, Cogliano, Dubnyk, Eberle, Gagner, Hall, Hemsky, Paajarvi & Smid.

Surely not the leafs as Fletcher, Quinn, Fergeson and now Burke have given them all away. |

There's a better question Duke... Who's got the most Leafs first rounders on their roster? |

Good question Alex!!!!!
There was once a license plate in Toronto that abbreviated "Go Leafs" it read "Golfs". |

Alex, that is a good question - please let us know when you find the answer

DET doesn't need first round picks - they get all their good players way later on:
- Holmstrom - 257th in 1994 - Zetterberg - 210th in 1999 - Datsyuk - 171st in 1998 - Franzen - 97th in 2004 - Filpula - 95th in 2002 - Lidstrom - 53rd, 1989
The only notable first round pick from the last decade currently in their roster is Niklas Kronwall (29th overall in 2000). That is pretty amazing. |

Exactly, they built their cup teams on drafting, but unlike Pittsburgh and Chicago, they did on clutch late rounders.
