| Brodeur is 1st in the league in Wins, Shut Outs, Saves, games played, and shots against. 2nd in GAA and save % (by 0.03), so statistically he is there. His team is also 1st in the Atlantic, and 5th in the league. He has been in goal for all of their wins. Luongo has played almost as well, but his team is no where near New Jersey. If will be Brodeur unless he get's injured or the team tanks the last 30 games. Luongo and Kiprusoff will also be nominated, maybe Hasek. I think if Brodeur doesn't win, it was a fix! |

| I have to agree with Beans. But there is still 25 to 30 games left so a lot can happen. But it is between Brodeur, Luongo, Hasek and Kiprusoff right now. In that order too. However I'm confident that Kipper hasn't even begun to shine so my faith is good in my boy. Second in shut outs and near the top in everything else right now and climbing steadily. |

Raycroft, Huet, Mason not even close to being candidates, where are Loungo, Turco and I hate to say it but even Hasek over the 3 above, and who is that last guy on ur list.

| Ok I just checked Hasek's save %. It's a poor .909. So I'll revise my current positioning and put Kipper ahead of Hasek. |

seeing as Raycroft is on the list and Luongo isn't, i'm guessing you don't watch hockey.....I didn't even both to "click" on a respose since you put no thought into this topic.
DO YOU FOLLOW HOCKEY?
Raycroft is Decent at best....Luongo is a genuine hockey hero
By the way.......If luongo played for the devils he'd have 8 or more shutouts too....I know new jersey isn't the defence legend they were, but marty has it a lot easier than Luongo.....Shutouts are the most overrated stat (that and GAA), when it comes to saying how GOOD a goalie is....those are team stats...Brodeur has been great, but watching luongo these last 3 months has been magical.....if not for him, the nucks would be looking up at Columbus in the standings.

He IHC, I would agree with you if not for a couple of things. New Jersey is in 5th in the league. Vancouver is 12th. The league will put stock into that. And if Marty has it so much easier than Luongo, why have they faced the same amount of shots?? A lot can happen between now and the end of the year. However, if the current trend keeps up with Luongo and Brodeur having mirror image of stats, I would think the trophy will go to the goalie who's team is in better standings. It may even be a tie!! Both are equally important to their teams and both teams would be in the tank without their respective goalies.
It is not a landslide in any means, so I don't think the forum needs to wake up. If you think anyone other than Brodeur or Luongo deserve the trophy, then I agree, you do need to wake up.
