Oh well I guess I'll just use the US Olympic team from 1980...we beat the Soviets while Canada didn't even medal
Mike Eruzione, Jack O'Callahan, Robert McClanahan, Jim Craig, Steve Janaszak, Ken Morrow, Mark Johnson, Mark Pavelich, Steve Christoff, Dave Christian, Dave Silk, Mark Wells, Eric Strobel, Phil Verchota, Mike Ramsey, Bill Baker, Buzz Schneider, Neal Broten. Coach Herb Brooks, Doctor Nagobads.

I like the team Canada team, but somewhere in there Heatley should be there, and i think someone should replace Jovo, i guess if you could add a taxi squad, i would have weber, hannan, heatley, e.staal, spezza even though thats five guys, maybe for goalie Fleury, although don't see where he'd fit, definatly in the future though |

I don't think that anyone is Russian so i will make a team.
Ovechkin-Datsyuk-Afinogenov Kovalchuk-Fedorov-Kovalev Samsonov-Yashin-Vyacheslav Kozlov Frolov-Malkin-Semin
Gonchar-Zubov A.Markov-Kalinin D.Markov-Volchenkov
Khabibulin Bryzgalov
(lol nhl.com says there's only 2 Russian goalies, is that true?)

I took the assumption that it was for TODAY.
Gagne - Crosby - St. Louis Kariya - Thornton - Iginla Lecavalier - Spezza - Heatley Smyth - Savard - Briere (Tanguay)
Souray - Neidermeyer Boyle - Pronger Bieksa - Phaneuf (Hannan)
Luongo Brodeur (Fleury) |

To add to Ukraine: Peter Bondra
