None-Bergeron will have a hissy fit in locker room kill the team with an automatic rifle and commit suicide. The team won't be rebuilt for several years. |

I think Souray is the only realistic choice but i don't think they'll get him. |

Another stupid poll.. you had the right idea just bombed on the choices..
I agree with what everyone said above.. Sheldon Souray is the only realistic choice but he'll most likely head elsewhere |

I think this is a great topic....but it shouldn't be a poll. It should just be a question where people can answer their own opinions

I think Souray is a good choice and I think the Oilers will actually go for him. He is a local Alberta guy if I remember correctly and they seem to like that even if it does not always pan out(Cross). |

Yep, Souray is from Elk Point, about 2 hours north east of Edmonton.
Although, it is very unlikely that he will come here either. He is a UFA and has already said he wants to play in California to be closer to his daughter. I will be surprised if he moves at all because Montreal will want a lot for him. Most of the "hockey guys" that I have heard on the radio or seen on TV say he will be a Shark. But more than likely this summer, not on the 27th. Might be a rental player for a team like Vancouver or Minnesota, but he won’t be here.
Besides that, the Oilers will be sellers unless they win 4 of their next 5 games. Get ready for a fire sale. They proved that in giving NYI Bergeron and a 3rd round pick for a guy that is not even in the NHL. It's time for the Mighty Oil to go back to the drawing board. Even if they get to the play offs, who can they reasonably beat in a 7 game series??? I will always be an Oilers fan, but I am also a realist.

If they make it to the playoffs, I think they have a chance to beat anyone out there. It is a whole new game in the playoffs. I to am a realist and know that even making the playoffs will be damn tough for them. But I do not agree with having a fire sale, they just need a couple key moves and I think they would be a force again.
