Poll Question:
Jonathan Chechoo won the Maurice Richard trophy in 2005-2006 (56 goals). Today, he's the worst in the +/- category of Worcester (AHL).
What happened to this guy?

Yes he played with Joe Thornton the year he scored 56 goals, but Thornton was still there the next 3 years when his production dropped off.
And while yes doublechamp he never came close to matching that 56 goal season, he did have a number of other productive seasons in the NHL...28 goals in 03/04, 37 goals in 06/07 and 23 goals (in 69 games) in 07/08. But then he just dropped right off the map, only 12 goals in his last year in SJ, and down to 5 last year in Ottawa. The guy is still only 30, but his NHL days are behind him. |

This guy still has a great shot, I don't believe it was a lucky season, because he showed great skill. He most likely just lost awareness on the ice.
