LOVED IT! Wendel was a freight train. He was a utility guy who could pop more than a few great goals too. Definitely one of the great Leaf leaders.

| Wendel was great. I used to watch Toronto games because of him. His tussles with Probert were epic. And he was also a very decent hockey player. He was a throwback from the Golden Era. Unbelievable wrist shot too. |

| If the leafs still had guys like this on their team I might be slightly interested in watching them. Also guys like Doug Gilmour, Belfour, Roberts, Niewendyk, and Domi made them more interesting to watch. This video was pretty impressive though. |

Although I am far from a Leaf Fan, it's pretty hard not to cheer for a guy like Wendel Clark.
If I could have one drawback it would be continuing to pound the guy when he is on the ice. Once a guy goes down, the fight is over. If he gets back up, then keep chucking. But once he's down, it's over. I find it a lack of respect to keep going on a guy when he is down. |
