I also think the Oilers should. However, their past indicates that they won't. Bergeron going for basically a bag of pucks could be a sign that they will sell.
I know it would be a risk, but if I were Kevin Lowe, I would pull Smyth into the office and say that they were going to trade him for prospects and pick at the deadline, then re-sign him in the off season. I would be an incredible risk, but if it worked, it would pay off for the team in the long run.
definatly oilers, they already got started by giving away bergeron for someone who can't play here until next year. I doubt they'll get rid of smyth though.

In an interview Toronto's Ferguson said they were getting really close. He was refering to all the GM's at the meeting but you could tell hewas eluding to himself. Toronto is going to do a couple deals. Knowing their history it;ll probably be Roberts or Guerin (they like the old guys)
