Wow, was that an interesting game or what?. Ray really beat Biron up. And Emery fighting Peters? Wow. Then after the game everyone was laughing about it. I thought that was a interesting but a terrible game. Anyone agree?

| I personally thought it was a very entertaining game. Ottawa saw that they needed to take the game to Buffalo and after Spezza got jumped it was on. The Nhl needs more high intensity, high spirited games like those. The fans there loved it, the fans watching the game on tv loved it and oh the player issues got solved on the ice without the use of cheap shots etc. and it stayed there till next game which should be a beauty. 11 goals were scored too btw which shows that it wasnt just a brawl fest. |

| I missed half of it watching Miracle (yesterday was the anniversary of Lake Placid) but I saw the last period and the OT & SO. It was really something...all I can say is I'm glad Buffalo won. |

| Emery fought Biron. Miller came in for the rest of the game and got the win afterwards though. |

Gotta disagree with you! According to the rules a player gets three strides or three seconds to follow through on his check. Since it rarely happens, late follow throughs always look dirty, but they are not. Neil (not Philips) did not leave his lane to hit him, he did not accelerate to hit him, and he did not raise his elbow to hit him. Therfore, by league rules, it was a fair and clean hit... albeit an ugly one. |

It was not philips, it was neil! that dirty cheapo! I can't believe that he was playing with spezza and heatley for a couple of games. That game had a great series of fights though  I loved it when ruff put on all his goons and murray put on all his skill and then murray was on the bench yelling at ruff! that gave me a good laugh. I think Emery is soooo dumb. he just comes back from a 3 game suspension and he get kicked out of that game. He also has a bad wrist so i don't know what he thinks he is doing fighting. |

Yes, his elbow sure is up AFTER the hit...good call.
It was a bit late, but completely within the rules.
It was a shoulder (legal) to the head (not so legal).
At the end of the day, our whistle-happy NHL officials called no penalty, the league offices handed out no fines to the Sens. Now if THAT doesn't clear it up, nothing will. Bettman fines everybody!

The hit wasnt even that late. The slow motion makes it look worse. It was less than half a second, and the at the speed the game is played, thats nothing. Sorry Drury but keep yer head up buddy.

| the funiest part of the game was when emery was smilling when he was getting hit by peters. Why would you fight if you have a bad wrist and you are a goalie? |
